After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a Kigali city tour and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre before transferring to Volcanoes National Park.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
Proceed to the park headquarters for an early morning briefing before starting the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience inside Volcanoes National Park. The park is globally celebrated for protecting the endangered mountain gorillas and offers one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife encounters. Trek through dense bamboo forests, volcanic slopes, and scenic jungle trails in search of a habituated gorilla family. Upon locating the gorillas, spend one hour observing their behavior, family interactions, and natural habitat while capturing memorable photographs.
Later, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. The journey towards Nyungwe passes through Rwanda’s scenic countryside, tea plantations, rolling hills, and traditional villages, providing a remarkable cultural and natural experience along the route.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park followed by a canopy walk experience.
Proceed towards the rainforest for chimpanzee trekking inside Nyungwe National Park, one of the most important primate conservation forests in Africa. Nyungwe is home to over 13 species of primates and offers an exceptional rainforest ecosystem filled with exotic wildlife and birdlife. Trek through the dense forest trails in search of chimpanzees while listening to their vocal calls echoing through the jungle. Upon locating the chimpanzees, spend time observing their social interactions and energetic movement within the forest canopy.
Later, proceed for the famous canopy walk experience inside Nyungwe Forest. The suspended metallic bridge rises above the rainforest canopy and offers spectacular panoramic views of the forest, valleys, and surrounding mountains. The museum features a reconstructed royal palace designed in traditional Rwandan style and offers insight into the history, customs, and leadership of the Rwandan kingdom. The site is also known for its long-horned Inyambo cattle, which hold deep cultural significance in Rwanda.
Later, continue the journey back to Kigali while passing through Rwanda’s scenic rolling hills and countryside landscapes. Upon arrival in Kigali, proceed towards the airport for the scheduled departure flight, marking the end of the Rwanda primates safari adventure.
