In 1984, UNESCO designated this park a Natural World Heritage Site, recognizing its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity. Visitors can explore the park via three main circuits: the Lower Path, the Higher Path, and the Devil’s Throat Path.
The Lower Path is a 1,200-meter walk offering spectacular close-up views of many of the falls and rapids, including a front view of The Devil’s Throat and Brazilian rapids. It involves numerous steps and is moderately challenging, lasting about two hours. The Higher Path is a 1,300-meter trail along the cliffs that provides breathtaking panoramic views with no steps, making it less strenuous and taking approximately one hour. To visit the iconic Devil’s Throat, guests take the Ecological Jungle Train and walk along a 1,100-meter catwalk with large viewing balconies right on the edge of the falls, providing a dramatic and unforgettable experience (about two hours).
