On arrival at Amerigo Vespucci Airport, you will be met by our local representative in Florence for a brief meet and greet. Later, proceed to your city centre hotel in Florence for check-in.
During Medieval times, Florence was one of the wealthiest cities in the world and was at the centre of arts and culture. Today, Florence occupies a place in the hearts of art aficionados and is the capital of the beautiful Tuscany region of Italy. The city features artworks by the most notable personalities such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Dante and Botticelli. Financially backed by the powerful Medici family of Florence, these greats gave birth to the Renaissance movement that spread throughout the world.
After freshening up at the hotel. Head out for a walking tour of the lively Historic centre of Florence, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, at Piazza del Duomo, you shall witness the beauty of the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistry, Campanile of Giotto and several others notable buildings. The architecture of these buildings, their surrounding sculptures and their artwork are products of 600 years of profound artistic activity in the region in the 15th and 16th century. Marvel at the most famous sculpture in the world, that of David by Michelangelo at Gallerie Dell’Academia.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for a tour of the beautiful Tuscany region.
Begin the tour with a visit to the the medieval gem of Siena. Pass through the picturesque streets and explore main piazza of the city – Piazza del Campo. Other sights include the beautiful Siena Cathedral and Torre del Mangia. Next, drive about one hour through the rolling hills of Tuscany to reach a lovely winery in the countryside outside of San Gimignano. Indulge in a wine tasting of high-level wines accompanied by a delicious typical Tuscan meal with meat and cheese plate, pasta, and dessert.Then drive onwards to the hilltop town of San Gimignano. Sometimes called a medieval Manhattan, San Gimignano is visible from close and far, with its unmistakable medieval “skyscrapers.” there are still thirteen towers intact in this perfectly preserved hilltop town. Viist the main square – Piazza della Cisterna, where you can find the Cathedral, Duomo, and lovely architecture.
Finally, visit the medieval city of Pisa. Here we will marvel at the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa which is renowned world over for its outrageous slant. Also located in the same complex, the cathedral and cemetery are architectural marvels that play with white marbles and colourful mosaics. The baptistry, also located nearby, is famous for its amazing acoustic design which allowed the bishop to communicate with the people without using a mike.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for a full day tour of north-west coast of Italy “Cinque Terre”.
The Cinque Terre, an exquisite stretch of coastline in the Italian Riviera, is made up of five quaint villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Monterosso al Mare, and Vernazza. Well-known for its vibrant homes, stunning scenery, and glistening seas, it provides a singular fusion of unspoiled beauty and true Italian culture. Stroll around the charming alleys, see the old churches, unwind on the stunning beaches, and trek the well-known paths that link the settlements.
Take a full-day journey from Florence to witness the enthralling beauty of Cinque Terre. Set out on a picturesque air-conditioned coach ride to the Cinque Terre region, which is recognized by UNESCO. Start your journey at Manarola, where you may take a guided stroll among gorgeous vineyards and have free time to explore the village’s charm at your own speed. Continue to the cliff-top town of Corniglia, where you may explore its winding streets and breathtaking views. Select between a leisurely train trip with your guide or a guided stroll along the beach trail to Vernazza. When you arrive at Vernazza, take in the breathtaking views of the harbor and use your free time for lunch or a cold plunge in the sea. Proceed to Monterosso, which is well-known for its sand beaches and artisan stores, and, weather allowing, consider taking a picturesque boat ride around the Cinque Terre coastline. Finish your day in the southernmost settlement, Riomaggiore, with its vibrant architecture and extensive marine history. After spending time touring Riomaggiore, take the train and coach back to Florence to round off an amazing day spent discovering the natural beauty and cultural gems of the Cinque Terre.
