On arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you will be met by our local representative in Malaysia for a brief meet and greet. Later, proceed to your hotel in Kuala Lampur city centre for check-in.

Kuala Lampur is the capital of Malaysia and its largest financial centre. What began as a small Tin-Mining village with primarily Chinese immigrants employed by the British is today a global city with gleaming sky scrapers, mega-sized shopping malls, and bustling street markets. Kuala Lampur roughly translates to “Muddy Confluence”, a name the city gets due to its location at the confluence of rivers – Gombak and Klang.

After resting at the hotel, we will venture out for a sight seeing tour of the city. We shall begin the tour with a visit to the National Mosque. The huge mosque with a seating capacity of over 15,000 people comprises of a 73m tall minaret, main prayer hall with the 18-pointed star roof and numerous smaller prayer halls. Next, we shall visit the famous Petronas Towers. Connected at the 42nd floor with a sky bridge, the twin towers were the tallest structure in the world till 2004. We shall also visit Tugu Negara, the National monument built to commemorate the lives of those soldiers who lost their life while fighting the Japanese invasion of World War II. The tour also includes visit to other important buildings like the King’s palace and various administrative building such as Independence square and parliament house.

Overnight Stay at the hotel in Kuala Lampur.

SEGV’S RECOMMENDATION – Night markets are a prominent cultural feature of Malaysia and a great place to explore the local lifestyle. To make space for the makeshift night markets, a section of the residential neighbourhoods are closed down for traffic and the streets are occupied by hawkers selling everything from fresh fruits to clothes and accessories. Jalan Alor is one such night market famous for its delicious and low-priced street food. The market is famous for tasty coconut ice-cream and mouth-watering sea food and is a haven for food lovers.

We booked our honeymoon trip from SEGV tours to Australia for December 2023 end . It was so good ! Hotels were decent and the travel partners for tour guides in Australia chosen were really good . Transfers were always on time. The whole team was so patient with all our queries and iterations on itineraries. The bookings were made on time and were up to the mark! They were also available to guide on WhatsApp while we were on our trip . The cancellations were refunded. Some hiccups with guiding of how long day will end and ideas about next days schedule in terms of time can improve .
