After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a city tour of Amman, the capital city with a history spanning thousands of years. Known for its strategic location between desert and river valley, Amman reflects layers of Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic influences.

Begin with a visit to the Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts dating back to prehistoric times and includes pieces from the Dead Sea Scrolls. Then, explore the Folklore Museum, a charming space preserving Jordanian traditions through clothing, tools, and musical instruments. Proceed to the Citadel, one of the oldest occupied places in the world, offering panoramic views of Amman and home to the Temple of Hercules and other ancient ruins. Later, transfer to Petra via the scenic King’s Highway. En route, stop at Madaba, a charming city renowned for its exquisite Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Visit St. George’s Church, where the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land is preserved. This ancient cartographic masterpiece is the oldest known geographic mosaic in the world.

Continue the journey with a visit to Mount Nebo, also known as Moses’ Mountain. According to tradition, this is the site where Prophet Moses viewed the Promised Land. The mount offers sweeping views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and even Jerusalem on clear days. It also features remains of a 4th-century church and beautiful ancient mosaics.

Arrive in Petra, one of the world’s most spectacular archaeological sites. Carved into pink sandstone cliffs by the Nabateans more than 2,000 years ago, Petra is often referred to as the “Rose City”. It served as a major trading hub connecting Arabia, Egypt, and the Mediterranean.

Begin the day by entering the city through the Siq, a narrow, winding gorge flanked by towering 80-meter-high cliffs. The passage opens dramatically to the Treasury –Al-Khazneh, Petra’s most iconic monument, carved directly into the rose-hued stone and believed to have been the mausoleum of a Nabatean king.
