TOUR Itinerary
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our local representative from South Africa for a brief meet and greet. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cape Town for Check-in.
Cape Town is the capital of South Africa and was voted as “the greatest city on Earth” by The Daily Telegraph in 2014. A potbelly of different cultures, religions, cuisines and landscapes, Cape Town is a beautiful city that is towered by the majestic Table Mountain. It is the second largest city in South Africa and the cities’ mild climate, natural setting, and well-developed infrastructure makes it the top tourist destination for millions of Tourists around the world.
The day is free to relax and roam around in Cape Town on your own.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cape Town City.
We begin the sightseeing tour with a visit to Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark of Cape Town. A revolving cable car to the top offers mesmerizing panoramic views of the city. Next we shall explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, one of the oldest harbors in the country with a rich history and cultural significance. Other popular sights that will be covered on this tour are – Signal hill, District Six museum that contains relics of the past that were destroyed by the Britishers during Apartheid and the picturesque neighborhood of Bo-Kaap.
Post the tour, the evening is free for you to enjoy the city on your own.

Cape Peninsula is a peninsular landmass that is bounded by Table Mountain in the North and Cape of Good Hope in the south. Large parts of the peninsula come under the Table Mountain National Park and is extraordinarily rich in biodiversity. During the tour, we shall visit Hout Bay, a historic and colourful fishing village, catch sight of playful penguins at Boulder’s Beach, visit Cape of Good Hope which is widely believed as the southernmost tip of African continent and enjoy one of the world’s most scenic drive across Chapman’s Peak.

You can go on a fishing trip with local fishermen to catch Tuna in the open seas or snorkel among fur Seals. For those seeking more adventure, you can even experience cage diving to see the Great White Sharks, the ocean’s most majestic and dreadful predator up close.
After breakfast, check out fromthe hotel and proceed to Knysna. Enjoy whale watching cruise in Hermanus enroute.
Whale Watching tour in Hermanus – Hermanus is a town near Cape Town which has been awarded by WWF as one of the best whale watching destination in the world. Every year, from June to November, thousands of Whales travel to Hermanus for calving and mating. This offers for an excellent opportunity to go whale watching and see them in their natural habitats. You can go by boat, or those seeking more adventure can take a kayak and paddle near the whales for a once in a lifetime experience.
Afterwards, proceed to Knsyna. Knysna is a quaint town located in the heart of the world famous Garden Route National Park. The National Park is home to a wide variety of vegetation, wildlife and topography including beaches, mountains, forests, lakes and lagoons. Knysna is itself located on the Knsna Lagoon, a warm water estuary and is home to some of the best golf courses in the world.
Arrive at hotel and proceed for Check-in. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Knysna on your own.

SEGV’S RECOMMENDATION – Take a Knysna Heads sailboat tour in Knysna that cruises along the breathtaking coastline of Knysna’s Estuary. The cruise takes you close to the iconic Knysna Heads and you get a chance to marvel at the twin sandstone cliffs and appreciate its beauty. Enjoy South African wine and fresh oysters aboard the cruise as you soak in the spectacular flora and fauna in the region.
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for a fun day at Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn.
Cango caves are a 20-million-year-old underground cave system that have been recognized as one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. It is the biggest cave systems in Africa and cave paintings indicate it has been inhabited since the early stone ages.
Oudtshoorn is home to the world’s largest Ostrich population and ostrich farms here supplied fine Ostrich feather to royalty and high society when it was the elite fashion trend around 1800s. At the Ostrich farms, we will interact with the ostriches and learn how they are incubated and reared, feed them by hand, receive a ‘neck massage’ by the gigantic bird and if you are daring enough, even ‘ride one’!

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and proceed to Johannesburg for half-day city tour with humble beginnings as a shanty town, Johannesburg took a complete turn almost overnight with the discovery of gold in the region by prospector George Harrison. Harnessing of the large scale deposits of gold and diamond has made it the second largest city in South Africa and one of the wealthiest. Also known as Jo’burg or Jozi, the young city has an incredible history and legacy.
During the city tour, we shall visit the most popular sights in the city. We will visit Constitution Hill which was a prison complex divided into four wings which was the site of incarceration of popular political figures such as Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. We will also visit the Apartheid museum which gives an insight into the hardships and inequalities faced by the coloured and black people during British rule. During the city tour, we will also visit Mandela House and Hector Pieterson memorial.

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and proceed to Kruger National Park.
The Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest game reserve and home to the Big 5 – lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants and buffalos. The park has observed human occupation from early Stone Age, around one million years and has around 300 heritage sites. The beautiful park has the most stunning and diverse wildlife, from Big 5 and mammals such as Giraffes, Jackals and Zebra to birds such as eagles, storks and vultures. UNESCO has designated the park as an International Man and Biosphere reserve.
After checking into the hotel, proceed for a game drive to observe the animals running in the wild.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy two game drives – one in early morning and the other in the afternoon.

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out from the hotel and transfer to O. R. Tambo Airport to board your return flight to India.
