TOUR Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to your hotel in Santa Cruz Island and proceed for check-in.
Santa Cruz Island, located in the heart of the Galápagos Islands, is a vibrant hub of biodiversity, adventure, and conservation. Home to the largest town in the archipelago, Puerto Ayora, the island blends modern comforts with awe-inspiring natural wonders.
Continue to explore the highlands of Santa Cruz. The visit includes a ranch where Giant Tortoises roam freely in their natural environment. These ancient creatures are a hallmark of the Galapagos ecosystem. Later, proceed to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station in Puerto Ayora. Established in 1959, the station is dedicated to the conservation of the Galapagos Islands. It houses educational exhibits, information centers, and active research areas that support the sustainable management of the islands’ unique biodiversity.

After breakfast at hotel, board a speedboat and transfer to Isabela Island, the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago.
Isabela Island was formed by the merger of six volcanoes and is known for its rich biodiversity and volcanic terrain. It is home to unique wildlife and some of the most untouched landscapes in the Galapagos. Puerto Villamil, the island’s main town, offers access to important ecological and historical sites.
Begin the day with a visit to The Wetlands, a complex system of lagoons, mangroves, and swamps just outside Puerto Villamil. Proceed to visit the Wall of Tears, a somber historic site built between 1946 and 1959 by prisoners of a former penal colony. Forced to construct the wall using heavy lava rocks, many inmates endured brutal conditions. Visit to the Tortoise Breeding Center in the evening, where five species of Giant Tortoises are bred in captivity. The center plays a vital role in Galapagos conservation, using DNA research to recover endangered and even extinct species. The facility houses many tortoises and is surrounded by gardens of native flora, enhancing the learning and ecological experience.
